When the Bovays contacted us they were interested in hiring me to simply stage the beachfront apartment they had recently purchased and get it ready as a short term rental while they are able to retire and enjoy it full time. To both our surprise, when we went in the apartment for the first time we realized it needed much more than simply staging as it had major issues, from filtration and leaks to very old and dated fixtures. Luckily we are a one stop shop for all real estate needs and we were able to help them with everything needed, from redoing the upstairs terrace floors and repairing all the first floor ceilings that had major filtration issues to coming up with creative solutions to update bathrooms and kitchen on a very tight budget.
One of the hallmarks of coastal interior design is optimizing sea views. In this project, furniture is strategically arranged to make the most of the breathtaking ocean scenery, ensuring that everyone can savor the stunning real estate.
The casual furnishings and natural elements incorporated create a cozy interior that’s perfect for unwinding. It’s an invitation to embrace a relaxed, beachy vibe right in your own home.
Working with Waleska was amazing! I was nervous at first as we hadn't worked with a designer before and I wasn't sure if it would be worth the money. Well, she was worth every penny. Not only did she make the place look INCREDIBLE she did it meeting our budget as well. We live outside of Puerto Rico and during the project we found out our place would need considerable construction work on 1/2 of our place. Waleska and Luis helped us find vetted companies and handymen to do the job which saved us a ton of hassle. With every step of the way they were very communicative and kept detailed records. With the design of our place she found custom pieces like a turtle inn table cut from a mango tree, made some furniture herself by upcycling other projects, and used her local connections to make our place much more than we had expected.
